Scores – Spring 2023
We will be using the Barenreiter edition for this coming term’s learning/performances.
The Novello-Prout version is very similar however if members use this edition they will need to cover their scores with ‘Barenreiter blue’ or we will all need to use black folders (not so easy when the Barenreiter is 1kg). If rehearsal notes specific to the page/bar numbers need to be produced, only the Barenreiter edition will be referenced.
We can provide scores for our members to purchase from rehearsal. These will cost £15. However because our rehearsal venues have no storage facilities we will have limited supplies available to buy so they will be prioritised for sales to new members. The score is quite heavy and our helpers will otherwise need to transport them to and from our venues which is impractical.

You can also order/buy from Schott or Chimes in London but we suggest you call them to check they have stock in their physical stores.
