Join the Barts Charity Hike for Health 2024

Take on the annual East London urban hike on Sunday 29th September and help Barts Charity be there, through it all. Choose a distance of either 5km, 10km or 15km, with all routes encompassing the historic and newer sites of the City of London before looping back along the Thames Path, past St. Paul’s Cathedral to St Bartholomew’s Square.

Barts Choir members and their family & friends can benefit from 50% off the registration fee by using code HFH50. All fundraising done by the choir will go towards the overall total raised during our charity partnership, which has so far has been over £7,000. We hope you can join us! However, if walking is not for you but you’d like to support Sue, Paul and the rest of the team, you can donate via our JustGiving page here. Thank you.

As a participant in this year’s event, everyone will get:

  • Tips and tricks to help you raise as much as you can
  • A free Barts Charity Hike for Health t-shirt to wear on your hike
  • A finishers medal at the end
  • The opportunity to share your story on the charity’s social media channels

Sign up to join the walk here.

Barts Choir is currently partnering with Barts Charity, integrating our efforts to support an important charity driving life changing improvements for the people of East London. In 2023 Barts Hospital – the hospital in which we were founded – celebrated its 900th anniversary.
